Van Moer retains ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification following interim audit

Quality and environmental responsibility are not one-off achievements. They require an approach that is maintained day after day and independently assessed at regular intervals. Van Moer has once again passed the interim surveillance audit for both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, independently confirming that our systems and working practices continue to meet international standards.

What is an interim ISO audit?

ISO certifications are valid for several years. Between two full recertification audits, an accredited certification body carries out an interim audit: a targeted assessment of how the management system works in practice. This audit checks that processes, procedures and objectives exist not only on paper, but are actually implemented and monitored.

Passing a surveillance audit therefore demonstrates more than obtaining initial certification. It proves consistent implementation, rather than an effort made only at the time of assessment.

ISO 9001: quality management that demonstrably works

ISO 9001 is the international standard for quality management systems. For Van Moer, this means documented processes for design, production and follow-up; a structured approach to identifying and correcting nonconformities; and a continuous improvement cycle in which performance is systematically measured and evaluated.

For customers, this means predictability. Production quality, compliance with specifications and order follow-up are not the result of incidental care, but of a system that is independently validated. This provides reassurance, including for international partners who cannot monitor Van Moer closely on a daily basis.

ISO 14001: environmental management as an integral part of our approach

ISO 14001 sets requirements for an organisation’s environmental management system. Van Moer measures, records and manages the environmental impact of its activities in a structured way. This goes beyond avoiding violations: it involves continuously seeking to reduce environmental impact, with demonstrable objectives and results.
