Our thoughtful approach

At Van Moer, we believe great workwear starts with insight. That’s why our approach doesn’t begin with a catalogue, but with your organisation. We listen, analyse and translate your needs into a clothing concept that combines functionality, durability and a strong visual identity.

Specialised advice

Our approach in 5 steps

Van Moer goes beyond delivering workwear. Our team supports you with specialised advice, genuine passion and extensive experience across different industries. As a full-service developer and producer of workwear and corporate clothing, we translate your needs and requirements into a distinctive clothing line with an extra focus on safety, comfort and creativity.

The process

1
Thorough conversation

Thorough conversation

Everything starts with a good conversation, where we take the time to get to know each other better. Together we review your needs and analyse the functional requirements that the clothing package for your organisation must meet.

After all, workwear for employees in a healthcare institution requires a different functionality and atmosphere than clothing for workers in the construction industry. What always remains the same is our focus on the required quality and the desired look. From there, we develop several clothing concepts and get to work.

2
Presentation drawings

Presentation drawings

To work in a focused and structured way, we start with a needs analysis. This forms the solid foundation for developing presentation drawings and creating prototype garments in our manufacturing atelier.

Our coloured design drawings provide a clear overview of the concepts at a glance. Need adjustments? Based on your feedback, we refine and optimise the designs.

3
Test models and prototypes

Test models and prototypes

Satisfied with the presentation drawings? Have you decided on the fit, design and materials? We then develop sample garments and prototypes in our production facility.
These prototypes are made using the same fabrics, yarns and trims as the final production, allowing you to experience exactly how your chosen garments will look and feel in practice.

4
Test phase

Test phase

At Van Moer, we think in terms of service and can act quickly in ways that make a real difference for your organisation. How do we do this in practice? By organising a test period with prototype garments. A number of selected users are given the opportunity to wear and test the designed workwear over a certain period, evaluating both wearing comfort and durability.

Based on your feedback and preferences, further adjustments, improvements and wash tests are carried out in-house. Thanks to this hands-on approach, we can be 100% confident that the garments meet your expectations and perform comfortably in the workplace.

5
Production and delivery

Production and delivery

Once we are both satisfied with the prototypes and sample garments, your workwear collection moves into production. Customisation is what makes Van Moer unique. For us, this means starting with the selection of the highest-quality fabrics and trims that truly add value to your organisation.

To achieve this, we work exclusively with renowned suppliers known for their quality. We also keep the sourcing of raw materials and the production process close to home, ensuring an efficient and reliable customer journey.

Less waste,
More impact

Sustainability starts with precision.

That is why we work with care and attention at every step of the process:

  1. Order-driven production: we only produce what is ordered, preventing overstock and overproduction.
  2. Smart pattern engineering: our patterns are optimally placed, minimising material waste.
  3. Responsible production: we work exclusively with ateliers audited according to the BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) guidelines.
  4. Long-term partnerships: we have been working with most of our production partners for more than 30 years.
  5. Safe and durable materials: we use only OEKO-TEX certified fabrics and accessories, tested for quality and industrial wash resistance.
  6. Thoughtful end-of-life scenario: every garment has a defined end-of-life pathway, from reuse to fibre recycling.
