Behind ESG lies the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). This European directive goes much further than sustainability. How you organize your business operations has an impact on the environment, society, and governance (ESG). From 2024, all large companies are therefore obliged to communicate clearly about the effects of their business activities on the environment, society, and the company.
Does Van Moer need an ESG strategy? Our answer to that is a resounding ‘yes’. Although it is not yet formally obligatory for us to draw up an ESG report, we are already intensively involved in it. In order to strike a balance between financial results, transparency, social involvement, and environmental awareness, we are happy to take the lead.

Our ESG reporting will be a transparent presentation of our future-proof business operations. From our environmental and social responsibilities, you could say. And that just needs to be right. Because by taking a strong stance on our ESG and sustainability responsibilities and putting them into practice, we are contributing to a better world.
We literally show our partners and customers how we are different. We demonstrate that we attach great importance to elements such as energy consumption, climate, health & safety, availability of resources, and good governance. In short, we are professionals who don’t stop until the sustainability boundary is pushed that little bit further.
